Well, I haven't been crafting much lately but with a rainy weekend... I had the itch to create. I went looking for some inspiration and found a stunning <b><a href="http://dustyatticblog.blogspot.com/">The Dusty Attic Mood board</a></b> and a very fitting theme for Covid from the <a href="http://more than words blogspot"><b>More Than Words Challenge</b></a> - both for June.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are the images of the mood color board and the inspirational theme of windows/door (and the word hello to be portrayed). I chose to go more heavily on the middle softer colors of the Dusty Attic mood board. I also chose the window theme and named the layout hope... representing all the people that have only been able see and wave hello to their loved ones through a window during this Covid pandemic. My hope is that that they will soon be able to say hello in person with open arms for much needed hugs (especially the elderly).</div>

Here is a close-up of the embellishments to compliment the pretty Blue Fern "bird waltz" papers: Dusty Attic small scrolls and a mini word chipboard, Prima resin and flowers/butterfly, Green Tara "bling" and dollar store doilies. The little girl peeking out the window is an image from Pion Design and I used Helmar adhesives on everything. This is kinda a tribute to most of the fantastic manufacturer design teams I have served on at one point in the last two decades!</div>

I couldn't resist making one more layout with the gorgeous Christmas Cheer collection before breaking out the Valentine's projects. The papers are just too fun to work with!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSe0fpy4jcBgsahzVbyayZP9yjIQT9jGuF1sBiU_37jAW_eSxz9kNMjkZK15C_sZUSIYpVu3Le72k9svWWthCf3dDGI0dURUfKX3hxUFj2Im6LbTiJxMw3IL1V_abTKzfve3Q4BZW8c2E/s1600/IMG_5868.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="643" data-original-width="650" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSe0fpy4jcBgsahzVbyayZP9yjIQT9jGuF1sBiU_37jAW_eSxz9kNMjkZK15C_sZUSIYpVu3Le72k9svWWthCf3dDGI0dURUfKX3hxUFj2Im6LbTiJxMw3IL1V_abTKzfve3Q4BZW8c2E/s320/IMG_5868.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I embellished with beautiful Blue Fern white blooms, Sparkle collection chipboard (title and snowflakes), and even tucked some flower charms from the Radiance collection for a chilly feel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEienYOaScGfMmDNWoCghjNQ-Ljz_JhUiBYb0E1Abauzl9JSw63ZA62X9y-q_-8jHbF65uQLjZBekCvV_30Nj5BkcUQdARFw9qP3T1q0XaaueKrr6DtIOKUDaIEJWJZrkWusUIY96-3Wm3c/s1600/IMG_5870.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="586" data-original-width="650" height="288" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEienYOaScGfMmDNWoCghjNQ-Ljz_JhUiBYb0E1Abauzl9JSw63ZA62X9y-q_-8jHbF65uQLjZBekCvV_30Nj5BkcUQdARFw9qP3T1q0XaaueKrr6DtIOKUDaIEJWJZrkWusUIY96-3Wm3c/s320/IMG_5870.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I painted all of the chipboard white and then applied glaze and quickly sprinkled a bit of diamond dust, to add sparkle.</div>

Before packing up the holiday crafting, I am sharing a layout created with the beautiful Blue Fern Christmas Cheer collection. I love the timeless look of these papers!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIjQEP4bU5C2U3Wks_1sgSz-Edmb2tDot8zKEypUVK8h3c9y9AKqC-TwPtksNhglAlzsedBPJED4U4AKCRd4XqINEf0fyAoJFxKkEN-J73oQywnoevN4woqqgDpChXxiqrjM-0DaRdGXg/s1600/IMG_5859.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="654" data-original-width="650" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIjQEP4bU5C2U3Wks_1sgSz-Edmb2tDot8zKEypUVK8h3c9y9AKqC-TwPtksNhglAlzsedBPJED4U4AKCRd4XqINEf0fyAoJFxKkEN-J73oQywnoevN4woqqgDpChXxiqrjM-0DaRdGXg/s320/IMG_5859.jpg" width="318" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the Holly Days Flourish and Fa La La Border chipboard pieces, along pretty white blooms, to frame a vintage stock photo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvREsyqHNLZUI43H9dpiyMMrGJqoKr32EVjQuxdP1WvWXukqofrq_byOl_Xkxc2LELwwepPsuPu5ViaKnQwdDnpVd0Eq2ZbiaEOlzUdh1B0agVNDhiaISDn_KEr6jVooGu85a273-2Sog/s1600/IMG_5863.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="536" data-original-width="650" height="263" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvREsyqHNLZUI43H9dpiyMMrGJqoKr32EVjQuxdP1WvWXukqofrq_byOl_Xkxc2LELwwepPsuPu5ViaKnQwdDnpVd0Eq2ZbiaEOlzUdh1B0agVNDhiaISDn_KEr6jVooGu85a273-2Sog/s320/IMG_5863.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I kept the design and inking of the chipboard simple to let the pretty paper design shine. Everything except for a paper doily is gorgeous Blue Fern product.</div>

Just over a week until Christmas! Sharing a few fun ornaments created with the new Blue Fern Christmas Cheer paper collection and chipboard today... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUmV7Vidl2jhC6pvop9LVcxp0n_XTqeslILXoMhGYpzFc-nGvOzrr8CZenLsQcXnhPnOIG5AmYucvWyqKpXBOnusZhLCrsaoQ7POJcW56th16JUcPjFf4fTDy-PjuGsoMNEh2XuG0zTN8/s1600/IMG_5827.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="569" data-original-width="650" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUmV7Vidl2jhC6pvop9LVcxp0n_XTqeslILXoMhGYpzFc-nGvOzrr8CZenLsQcXnhPnOIG5AmYucvWyqKpXBOnusZhLCrsaoQ7POJcW56th16JUcPjFf4fTDy-PjuGsoMNEh2XuG0zTN8/s320/IMG_5827.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the "Christmas Cuties" chipboard, I painted them off-white and polished with glass beads mixed media gel. I wanted the focus to be the "delighted" paper, surrounded by soft elegance.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used some pretty Blue Fern "summer blooms" and ribbon that matched perfectly for this project!</div>

Happy Friday! I am here to share a handmade kirigami box... perfect for the gift giving season. This box was made with the phenomenal new Blue Fern Christmas Cheer collection. The coordinating ephemera and chipboard in this collection is so vintage and just my style! I added a white bloom from the Homespun collection and a silver charm from the Radiance collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsVOG9hfWH6n3SKX6KL3mEH0GX6dqj-SJqOzB1eOu2JCR58Y7aepZ8ZFL2lKIFLSvFgDlHIOW2iFNIUhR1tEMJmgcZVyI4VBW21xzSGk1CnkiOkkszGh90EEyWq6FGfwXHFkWbDtDcGbE/s1600/IMG_5824.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1059" data-original-width="1280" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsVOG9hfWH6n3SKX6KL3mEH0GX6dqj-SJqOzB1eOu2JCR58Y7aepZ8ZFL2lKIFLSvFgDlHIOW2iFNIUhR1tEMJmgcZVyI4VBW21xzSGk1CnkiOkkszGh90EEyWq6FGfwXHFkWbDtDcGbE/s320/IMG_5824.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
On the "Christmas Cheer" chipboard piece, I simply stippled gesso and sprayed with light green mist. At the bottom of the box topper I glued some gorgeous Blue Fern lace, to polish it off. This box is 4"x 4"x 4". These take a bit of time to make but are worth putting something special in them. Here is a link to a previous tutorial I did on how to make the basic box: <a href="https://simplypaperandcreativity.blogspot.com/2011/07/kirigami-box-tutorial.html">https://simplypaperandcreativity.blogspot.com/2011/07/kirigami-box-tutorial.html</a></div>

Here is a layout of my daughter's school photo. I usually have a hard time with school photo layouts, but this was the perfect paper collection for the "fake" picture backdrop they provided. So Whimsical!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW5wlOVin9cIerWSCFB2Y6Y6XZCOoEcWaXNttMyMc7KhnoeG61HcCBXb58vxVgMoAIelE4x2tmarvKlp9zp8lxFnr1it8ChGHvCbB8dfa7gXdQ8wXLoA_b77ZGuzzdulqSMSDNoWv6H5Q/s1600/IMG_5815.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="643" data-original-width="650" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW5wlOVin9cIerWSCFB2Y6Y6XZCOoEcWaXNttMyMc7KhnoeG61HcCBXb58vxVgMoAIelE4x2tmarvKlp9zp8lxFnr1it8ChGHvCbB8dfa7gXdQ8wXLoA_b77ZGuzzdulqSMSDNoWv6H5Q/s320/IMG_5815.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Many gorgeous Bleu Fern products layered on here... Summer, Pink and Apricot blooms, "take flight" bird chipboard (used chalk ink for colours), "bloom" title chipboard (used ink base and topped with Blue Fern's morning sun powder), "floral lace" chipboard (distressed inked).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I added some pretty doily accents from my stash and tucked more blooms in the corner.<br />

Gosh... Blue Fern's Bird Waltz collection is so divine. Here is my "Take Flight" layout of when we left our house of 17 years and many memories. Loved this backyard!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEGOj-jeTn1iV1YEV2k7WsEIVzE1RXtJ9VBrWbicwLd5mHq7z4Wv1I0JAB3gOCKa0hqzMQ2h3OAonY9ntsH1yZb9aXLiluXx0xY2FPEVMjfgG4nMRmbEedL76XJq38J87Brw8Q045eY2c/s1600/IMG_5779.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="649" data-original-width="650" height="319" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEGOj-jeTn1iV1YEV2k7WsEIVzE1RXtJ9VBrWbicwLd5mHq7z4Wv1I0JAB3gOCKa0hqzMQ2h3OAonY9ntsH1yZb9aXLiluXx0xY2FPEVMjfgG4nMRmbEedL76XJq38J87Brw8Q045eY2c/s320/IMG_5779.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Wow, just look at the gorgeous flowers, chipboard and heavenly paper! Due to the style of this layout, I kept the chipboard simple and only used some chalk ink on them. Close-up #1... includes take flight chipboard, dragonfly blossoms, summer blooms, bird waltz ephemera, and amazing paper layers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Close-up #2... includes, oh so many pretty summer blooms and I chopped up some floral lace chipboard for the swirls around the flowers. More distressed paper layers!</div>

All I needed to do is add a doily from my stash. The picture is a throwback to a little puppy abandoned from its mother at 7 weeks old (picture taken over 25 years ago), that we ended up loving for almost 17 years before he passed away.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_MOD52PfRXKmob5iu8VD6hBSUu75pCLlbspxY91qwl2IHotv-IaDXGqhx6DI0OOxBLQuRZsVDfx52Spr-JhDNE-GVSt28A-um6Gao6qn_GUWrL_Ctg6zExdJfCOhMNsFV5zMgdcGFdiE/s1600/IMG_5702.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="651" data-original-width="650" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_MOD52PfRXKmob5iu8VD6hBSUu75pCLlbspxY91qwl2IHotv-IaDXGqhx6DI0OOxBLQuRZsVDfx52Spr-JhDNE-GVSt28A-um6Gao6qn_GUWrL_Ctg6zExdJfCOhMNsFV5zMgdcGFdiE/s320/IMG_5702.jpg" width="319" /></a></div>
<br />
On the first close-up you can see that I cut a large ornate corner chipboard flourish to better suit my layout. On the larger portion I inked it dark yellow and then randomly glued some fabulous sunbeam powder on it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiVV09vxUuQf3c4S34BFZhvoX5aqmX_xAGLW0X9qr3dYfjI-qv65eu_JigZX7mXojo-1h0VNQZjjKrOwJ4SMlkogDmJYNX31dostsNESTCkLHuM3dWbqAvFi7ySTjLv_qVKU6wWj_3KQc/s1600/IMG_5707.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="475" data-original-width="650" height="233" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiVV09vxUuQf3c4S34BFZhvoX5aqmX_xAGLW0X9qr3dYfjI-qv65eu_JigZX7mXojo-1h0VNQZjjKrOwJ4SMlkogDmJYNX31dostsNESTCkLHuM3dWbqAvFi7ySTjLv_qVKU6wWj_3KQc/s320/IMG_5707.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
On the small portion of the flourish above and also the "hello" chipboard below, I used a mix of gesso and seafoam powder to give it a shabby chic look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

On the first tag I used Barb's Medallion Chipboard, painted it white and topped it with diamond dust glass for a chilly look. I then added a round adhesive shape from the Homespun collection and surrounded it with Blue Fern blooms... again adding diamond dust to the white flowers. The white ribbon is also from Blue Fern.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
On the second tag I used some gorgeous Blue Fern white lace, white flowers and a coordinating Homespun adhesive shape. The red ribbon is also from Blue fern so I dug into my stash to find a few red blooms to complement the papers and the pretty ribbon to add contrast to the fantastic white flowers and lace.</div>

This is a snapshot of the lakehouse before our renovations begin. Lots of layers and distressing and chipboard on this project!<br />

On this close-up, more of A Spring Day chipboard... the bird coated with oatmeal powder and the rest inked. All topped with a variety of Blue Fern blooms. There is also a Classic Mini Chipboard Frame that I distress inked and randomly glued oatmeal powder for a rustic look.<br />

I am sharing a layout created with the new Radiance collection from Blue Fern. These papers and blooms are truly gorgeous. This collection also features some pretty silver charms and lace too! I accented with bling and a doily from my stash to pull everything together for a vintage look. For the title I even used an adhesive shape from the Remnants collection... that just fit perfectly on here.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I still get emotional when I think of almost 18 years worth of memories in that place. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjydcAmlSlgiFhzWYgNoX0euUVxbF-3FO_W5uXMn70VSLa-Dsqp8jV7ZJsnWPv2BEcMvIFvdAS5OATzCcRw5g-OjB307KyvE8SC-qVZoLZd50eK5PuExwVnSFtQV8MrdZj7WTHKFenHVAs/s1600/House+2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="647" data-original-width="650" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjydcAmlSlgiFhzWYgNoX0euUVxbF-3FO_W5uXMn70VSLa-Dsqp8jV7ZJsnWPv2BEcMvIFvdAS5OATzCcRw5g-OjB307KyvE8SC-qVZoLZd50eK5PuExwVnSFtQV8MrdZj7WTHKFenHVAs/s320/House+2.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For this layout I used Blue Fern's gorgeous Remnants paper collection, coordinating adhesive shapes, lace, flowers, garden daisies chipboard and tattered walls ephemera. A few little embellishments from my stash to tie everything together.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQexscWYDuvvoAPLvx-bdmzzy63yJgfTNRHBvRCTPLNwGlivbl4exnRJ5qkpxzF3Y7h4OcY1CpXrRR3JeRotIVPsUk5rXT7XCzeIq48YZVKKry5Uc-ECyFKtkW24DnXaWUGVnQz0Vafco/s1600/Houe+2+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="449" data-original-width="650" height="221" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQexscWYDuvvoAPLvx-bdmzzy63yJgfTNRHBvRCTPLNwGlivbl4exnRJ5qkpxzF3Y7h4OcY1CpXrRR3JeRotIVPsUk5rXT7XCzeIq48YZVKKry5Uc-ECyFKtkW24DnXaWUGVnQz0Vafco/s320/Houe+2+detail.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
On the close-up, you can see that I used Blue Fern's lavender seedlings on the garden daisies chipboard. They perfectly matched the purple lilacs in the photo. I still miss all the pretty lilacs we had on that property! Well, as always... thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my project today.<br />

I decided to have some fun altering a tomato can and a mayonnaise jar...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZegxdZZxxJ6gsWVEahcs7SQxxJG-zvExVN1dqpMqTiXBD7FQmx2wHnmFxPpDU3ZiRAxamPzav71mhO0iIT6wCYqcpJr-PdZrhzGvIOsiCMOKwCjdY_6YB2Ou2x9p77s07MycP5-NosRA/s1600/Cans1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="540" data-original-width="650" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZegxdZZxxJ6gsWVEahcs7SQxxJG-zvExVN1dqpMqTiXBD7FQmx2wHnmFxPpDU3ZiRAxamPzav71mhO0iIT6wCYqcpJr-PdZrhzGvIOsiCMOKwCjdY_6YB2Ou2x9p77s07MycP5-NosRA/s320/Cans1.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just can't seem to get enough of Blue Fern's Homespun and Heartland collections. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvKSbq0tCae22QC-Pkwkw98LyKrPtREoQJihaqAmCZN38IeCfszptP9-3UQwFnBKlYsMuuV9Ba2BQEtO6HNmbiLUsVMcrY5GW-ouFMPWW4bG7s5YP_pYfBm4YOoqpArBZsIkNpviT7ITQ/s1600/Cans2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="796" data-original-width="650" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvKSbq0tCae22QC-Pkwkw98LyKrPtREoQJihaqAmCZN38IeCfszptP9-3UQwFnBKlYsMuuV9Ba2BQEtO6HNmbiLUsVMcrY5GW-ouFMPWW4bG7s5YP_pYfBm4YOoqpArBZsIkNpviT7ITQ/s320/Cans2.jpeg" width="261" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the tomato can I added an adhesive butterfly from the Remnants collection, Tattered walls ephemera and Blue Fern flowers too. Nothing from my stash on here - this is ALL gorgeous Blue Fern product.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ_N2DXgyivEAj8HWqu-vLPeALfbgT3Dw0aHH6BbPWdyaGe3HyMajVPc6SbRZlVX5dZWbu4soiGaapZDyI0Ngx1gnNKuNWgSQCsxmEPNo4UsxGZBrRGPGPQ4OoorLNeqSENr0Z__KjOio/s1600/Cans3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1006" data-original-width="650" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ_N2DXgyivEAj8HWqu-vLPeALfbgT3Dw0aHH6BbPWdyaGe3HyMajVPc6SbRZlVX5dZWbu4soiGaapZDyI0Ngx1gnNKuNWgSQCsxmEPNo4UsxGZBrRGPGPQ4OoorLNeqSENr0Z__KjOio/s320/Cans3.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the mayonnaise jar, Homespun adhesive shapes, Tattered walls ephemera, Blue Fern flowers, ribbon and flourish heart chipboard... again nothing from my stash on this project either!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUUKNu0gAqb3pDG73dR5M9g4bSHUOvxKZYNwUPat6JjI_srOS0fPkPefrvteKdfIm9qftzrV9uYC-Q1vjBJwKthG_rkU5oRf9WMUyEsCmvuntZBFWo6oTf7pl2_v9L-sAuXycKaKdgsE0/s1600/Cans4.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="625" data-original-width="650" height="307" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUUKNu0gAqb3pDG73dR5M9g4bSHUOvxKZYNwUPat6JjI_srOS0fPkPefrvteKdfIm9qftzrV9uYC-Q1vjBJwKthG_rkU5oRf9WMUyEsCmvuntZBFWo6oTf7pl2_v9L-sAuXycKaKdgsE0/s320/Cans4.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the heart chipboard I inked in dark pink and then randomly glued some pink embossing powder on top for a thick shabby look. Well... once again tanks for stopping by to take a peek at my projects!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Taking a little family trip soon and thought this would be a great journaling card set, for my 3 kids...</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Wanderlust and is such a fantastic paper collections for this type of project! I simply grabbed a craft envelope, stamped with a beautiful Blue Fern background stamp, added paper layers, plus coordinating adhesive shapes, directions chipboard, and lots of inking on this project.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Above is a close-up of the envelope. As you can see... lots of distress ink used on here from stamping to chipboard and on the paper edges too.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the 3 little cards, more adhesive shapes and inked directions chipboard. I am very sure I will be using more of this pretty collection post-vacation! Thanks for stopping by to view my project today.</div>

We moved to a lakefront house a while back (less than 2 miles from our last house)... what a change and more renovations still to be done! I will share a layout of my previous house at another time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For this layout I used the gorgeous Blue Fern Amber & Apricot paper collection, coordinating adhesives shapes, tattered walls ephemera, rose leaves and hook & keys chipboard, plus gorgeous flowers. Lots of distressed layers and only a few embellishments from my stash.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the leaves and key chipboard pieces I used variety of inks and chalks, for a rustic look. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my newest project!</div>

Well, I think it is obvious that I simply adore Blue Fern's HOMESPUN collection... so, I created a country style wedding card & gift bag set.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjnkP3hyphenhyphenSU_prw-jLcUVMX48gtcWO0QcpvHzjpktJWzNosV5MY_-0NXGo6pF4Apylw0w1svx_x0stNCYBrlrfT80EHfFEtBiUI8RMuwWjWgTPWmX_9nS-bLfpXYLV2tgLFgNwWCr4IefQ/s1600/IMG_5028.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="528" data-original-width="650" height="257" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjnkP3hyphenhyphenSU_prw-jLcUVMX48gtcWO0QcpvHzjpktJWzNosV5MY_-0NXGo6pF4Apylw0w1svx_x0stNCYBrlrfT80EHfFEtBiUI8RMuwWjWgTPWmX_9nS-bLfpXYLV2tgLFgNwWCr4IefQ/s320/IMG_5028.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
On the card I used several of the collection's adhesive accents plus LOVE STORY ACCENTS chipboard and beautiful Blue Fern flowers too! I primed the chipboard with gesso, glazed on some glass beads medium and quickly sprinkled some embossing glitter (Blue Fern), as well added some diamond glass to the dress (for more texture). The only thing from my "stash" is the pink heart paper doily.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmfu0Ojpsi0MsikKpPEr3tJ3Cl_CrIAWNgI_59piehq9pSiKf9YkZHl-AJA4Ycz7CeL8SMUpoRjGV4RENNP-xIAxe8KY0rMlujzJwiYhy7tMjuYyCW8tOHpXTsfNJII4Hd7-NaC0gak9E/s1600/IMG_5033.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="612" data-original-width="650" height="301" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmfu0Ojpsi0MsikKpPEr3tJ3Cl_CrIAWNgI_59piehq9pSiKf9YkZHl-AJA4Ycz7CeL8SMUpoRjGV4RENNP-xIAxe8KY0rMlujzJwiYhy7tMjuYyCW8tOHpXTsfNJII4Hd7-NaC0gak9E/s320/IMG_5033.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For the gift bag, I used a simple craft bag and a circle doily I had... then I added Homespun paper collection layers, adhesive accents, Blue Fern flowers and more love store accents chipboard too. On the chipboard I used texture paste and sprinkled some Blue fern embossing glitter before it dried.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

These are great for any time of year. I had fun playing with the Blue Fern's Heartland and Homespun collections, plus their gorgeous flowers, lace, adhesive shapes (that coordinate with the paper collections)... and of course chipboard (the clock is from the love story accents).<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWO-Bio53KGTtmTG-HF5camjIHvAGu-WKXq6WEuwpMqcx0MTrSaRfWNDwMoXRTGDT9Z-dc8OzKRFoznNcnJeX85nTMinpF-zx2qsBFgUn2z2KXKHUNFvCt2r0l1rUQrFkqMo5JOSX_FKbG/s1600/IMG_5022.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="351" data-original-width="650" height="172" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWO-Bio53KGTtmTG-HF5camjIHvAGu-WKXq6WEuwpMqcx0MTrSaRfWNDwMoXRTGDT9Z-dc8OzKRFoznNcnJeX85nTMinpF-zx2qsBFgUn2z2KXKHUNFvCt2r0l1rUQrFkqMo5JOSX_FKbG/s320/IMG_5022.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Here is a close-up of the first box... The only thing used from my "stash" is a paper doily.<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #191919; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>

<br />Here is a close-up of the second box... On the clock chipboard (from the love story accents), I simply dabbed ink to leave expose raw chipboard showing. Sometimes less is more on some projects and a simple technique is perfect to suit the design style.<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The first card features a mix of the gorgeous Blue Fern Heartland and Homespun collections, plus love story adornments and 2 hearts set chipboard. On the chipboard, I primed with gesso, glazed with a glass beads medium and then sprinkled BF pink embossing powder (before it dried). Look at the gorgeous flowers and adhesive shapes that coordinate with the paper collections... Blue Fern makes designing so easy! The only thing from my stash is that cute heart doily.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">The second card features again a mix of the beautiful Heartland and Homespun collections, plus love letters chipboard. On this chipboard, I simply randomly dabbed gesso to leave exposed raw chipboard. I then dabbed a bit of clear glue and quickly sprinkled blue BF embossing powder (before it dried). Once again, the only thing from my sash is the circle doily. More gorgeous BF flowers that perfectly matched this project! </span></div>

I am so happy to announce that I will be designing for Blue Fern Studios for 2019. I have decided to only work 3 days per week, so I am now a bit free to getting back to being able to commit to design team work... and renew my passion for paper art! See who else is on the team = I am in very good company!</span></span><br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
It's almost the end of "love" month and I'm here to share a layout using some gorgeous <b><a href="http://megsgarden.com/">Meg's Garden</a></b> papers and lots of BRAND NEW <a href="http://www.dustyattic.com.au/"><b>Dusty Attic</b></a> chipboard. This layout was inspired by the February DA mood board and... who says you can't use Christmas papers all year long? They are so pretty!</div>

On all of the chipboard I splattered DA's Navajo White DA0903 paint and topped it with DA Clear Crackle DA0900 Varnish. This is a really easy way to achieve a nice rustic look. The title is from the DA1170 pack.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
A layout I created using a picture of my first born as an infant. This is one of my favourite baby pictures of him (he is now 11 years old). I dug out some Pion papers and then started to add gorgeous <b><a href="http://www.dustyattic.com.au/">Dusty Attic</a></b> products.</div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPYJLBA9Zvepc66RwF-lROc7FCxuOf2AbX1CHqqJrs1blsYpcuA-crwlPQdIsWeN5GqpTkWxz5HtPbLXuqkNkWN2afsaX9SiVDSheDCoKCbLQ9EW5btphqw_klD7qG3qP60JnUE7z-iaw/s1600/Sweet+Dreams.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPYJLBA9Zvepc66RwF-lROc7FCxuOf2AbX1CHqqJrs1blsYpcuA-crwlPQdIsWeN5GqpTkWxz5HtPbLXuqkNkWN2afsaX9SiVDSheDCoKCbLQ9EW5btphqw_klD7qG3qP60JnUE7z-iaw/s1600/Sweet+Dreams.jpg" height="317" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On the "<b><a href="http://www.dustyattic.com.au/products.php?product=Sweet-Dreams">sweet dreams</a></b>" (DA0943) title, I randomly inked it with distress inks, leaving a little of the bare chipboard exposed (for a two-toned effect).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeDiiC10AfaabVNlc_bSAC6In657pFaAQHt6IGjsurxoYtRVFqq5oCQ4SvRp-VdkCfQJpsExPMIXjtKs_jyA49Ph5O7lZmJb3IvFeUtqrg54LoLwEzG92mBEqVDZxvZpeGHPOTkYdR93c/s1600/IMG_1159_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeDiiC10AfaabVNlc_bSAC6In657pFaAQHt6IGjsurxoYtRVFqq5oCQ4SvRp-VdkCfQJpsExPMIXjtKs_jyA49Ph5O7lZmJb3IvFeUtqrg54LoLwEzG92mBEqVDZxvZpeGHPOTkYdR93c/s1600/IMG_1159_2.jpg" height="263" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I treated the "<b><a href="http://www.dustyattic.com.au/products.php?product=Corner-Flourish-%232">corner flourish #2</a></b>" (DA0629) the same way with inks (as the title), and then added some pretty "<b><a href="http://www.dustyattic.com.au/products.php?product=Dusty-In-Bloom-Bridal-Veil">bridal veil</a></b>" blooms (DA0805).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibIZRvdTwFIa8gJZVXAYeNMtsrwuwZ_adeURzOyPDq9TO9m1a3rWB_jwdTQweaRabfcH37sun9sW_g0vOAPpZuX2j1iCU4T6p6AEpgZhQU63HCkkzz6wjupccsRtk7jGVCbdpRlThAgy8/s1600/IMG_1157_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibIZRvdTwFIa8gJZVXAYeNMtsrwuwZ_adeURzOyPDq9TO9m1a3rWB_jwdTQweaRabfcH37sun9sW_g0vOAPpZuX2j1iCU4T6p6AEpgZhQU63HCkkzz6wjupccsRtk7jGVCbdpRlThAgy8/s1600/IMG_1157_2.jpg" height="262" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Sometimes an easy chipboard treatment is the perfect way to complement your photo and paper choices.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
