I do! My husband hand stained eighteen 12x12 open shadow boxes to match our hardwood floors (from Michaels Crafts - they have glass protected ones too that are already finished). Gotta love a man who supports your art (aka addiction, LOL!). We have 12 foot ceilings on either side of our staircase so 9 frames per wall (the stairs go down to a walk-out basement -- built into the side of a hill).

What do you think?
I think you have great husband AND you are very talented! Would like to come for coffee and admire it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI do too, Vicki. My shadow boxes are custom made locally and have glass to protect the pages from dust and insects ( I live in a tropical country, remember!)
ReplyDeleteTFS peeks of your beautiful home. I can see your scrapping style spill into your home decor too :)
Looks Beautiful and I tend to only display mine in my scraproom!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous Vicky, so pretty and interchangeable. I have mine up on the wall in my scraproom, though tend to have them up for some time, then change and put old ones into albums.
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea on a lovely wall like that. I have a few on the scraproom wall and others on stands in the living area and they get changed as I create more. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI think you are a very lucky girl to have a husband who supports you in such a wonderful way... that would be amazing to have layouts on display, and they could be changed after a while so it would always be fresh... love this idea...
ReplyDeleteyou are so talented, and have a great husband!mine schould not do that.
ReplyDeleteStunning Vicky! I had a dozen made but we are still to hang them!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Vicky. What a great idea. Di xo
ReplyDeleteYour display looks very pretty, but tasteful. Lucky you to have such a husband~
ReplyDeleteI bought the shadow boxes on a great sale from Michaels in the US I paid 6 bucks for each I bought tons and instead I've been using them to give as gifts. I will put some up I just have to decide which LOs to choose.
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely fab Vicky, you've got a darling hubby for sure! We haven't got any Michaels and the ones in IKEA are a smite too small so I've got all my pages piled up in in IKEA boxes. Would love to display mine too. Having shadow boxes custom made costs and arm and a leg over here. xoxox
