Something Tattered and ClearSnap Cross

Welcome to day 2 of the Clearsnap and Something Tattered cross-promotion!

From June 20 to the 22nd, we are showcasing projects created by both of our Design Teams. ClearSnap was so generous in providing each Something Tattered designer with gorgeous inks to works with for this cross promotion. I chose to use the brand new Splash and Concord chalk inks as well as a touch of silver pigment ink for my project.

We were given a wedding theme so I created a little gift box to hold a piece of jewelry for the Maid of Honour to wear on the big day. I created the background using 2 brand new Clearsnap chalk ink colours, then stamped with gesso and pigment ink on top.

ClearSnap products used:
ClearSnap ColorBox Chalk Inks in Concord and Splash, ColorBox Pigment ink in Silver

Something Tattered products used:
Powder Antique Wallpaper stamp and Vintage Sterling Monogram

Here's a little about Clearsnap®:

Finding new ways to help our customers add color to craft projects is our passion. From our beginnings in a garage workshop more than 20 years ago, we've grown into a leading US manufacturer in the paper crafts industry.

In 1986, Clearsnap®developed the Rollagraph® roller stamp system, beginning a legacy of innovation. Rollagraph® introduced the world to the self-inking rolling rubber stamp with interchangeable ink cartridges and stamp wheels.

With the ColorBox® line of inkpads, Clearsnap® introduced many features common on today's inkpads, such as the raised inking surface which allows the use of any size inkpad with any size stamp. Cat's Eye® inkpads brought high quality inks to the market at an affordable price. Petal Point® and Paintbox® inkpads offer removable plates or petals in a multi-color palette.

Clearsnap® uses only the finest quality materials in our products. When we develop a new inkpad, applicator or embellishment, we put it through its paces. We invite some of the best, most experienced and demanding artists to test it for us. Products that survive and shine through this process make it into our catalog and onto our web site.

And here's a little about Something Tattered:

When Beth began hunting wallpaper for the bandboxes she was creating in 1990 it started a life of antiquing adventures and a passion for old paper. In 1993 Beth’s wallpaper covered boxes we featured in Victoria magazine and Beth’s sister Marilyn Krehbiel joined her in the pursuit. Marilyn’s business Hannah’s Treasures evolved into purveying historic wallpapers for movie sets. Beth peddled her boxes to the coast of California and settled in the west. In 1997 Beth married Peter Neumann, son of a letterpress printer, who shared Beth’s appreciation for the old paper arts. In 2011 Peter and Beth began Something Tattered in response to Beth’s newest pursuit, Wedding Paper designs from her vast collection of antique paper. In 2013 Something Tattered launched the current line of craft stamps and in 2014 the new antique wallpaper stamps were added bringing the adventure full circle. We hope you will share the passion.

From June 20 to the 22nd, we are showcasing projects created by both of our Design Teams.

We are so glad you took the time to visit as our Designers have some beautiful and inspiring projects to share with you today. We were challenged to create Wedding themed projects without using patterned paper. The designs you see were created exclusively with Clearsnap inks and Something Tattered stamps!
